what happens when it doesn't work out as planned

i think in the last video i spoke about getting into architecture, school, thinking it was my dream course.

and i think it’s scary to have something in mind, but in real life, it turns out to be something completely different.

but i think what has helped me through this period was really trying new things, and when we talk about trying new things, we’re not talking about something that’s big, grand, just the thought of it would scare you.

we are talking about small things, smaller projects so that you can test and try out to have a little taste of what it feels like if you were to go down that route.

back then, if you told me i had to speak to the camera, it’s definitely not gonna happen.

even now it’s still very uncomfortable for myself. i don’t know if you can hear from the wavering of my voice.

what has helped me back, then, was documenting my life, to just get used to the idea of filming myself, not to post. and then from there i started taking more photos, more videos.

sometimes i would post it, sometimes even with voiceovers.

now, if you watch my videos, there’s a lot more talking to the camera included,

and i guess the reason why i share it is to just show that there’s a progression, and you don’t have to just do that big, that huge thing you’re always scared of.

you can always just start out with baby steps.

yeah, we shouldn’t compare our day one with someone’s day 100 or 300, right?

i don’t think that’s fair for us.
