its november and with 11:11 coming up, there’s constant sales on multiple paltforms
decided to buy wireless go gen 3 white edition (really wanted this) on sale so got for 351 sgd with local delivery included
for now have decided to put on hold buying the fx3, even though there are sales going from 5099-5.2k+ compared to the original of 5.9k++ - my general thoughts now is because i still can’t really decide and that’s only the camera body, i still have to take into account lenses (though mostly decided for a zoom lens of either sigma, tamorn or sony 24-70 range) and sd cards and nd filters etc
might have a better cop on carousell or other marketplace - there’s still one on carousel that is quite worth, with the added fittings but honestly that is a little too much for me plus i won’t need all of the additions, whereas there was another that had already been sold that i should have bought - and much cheaper.
bought from reddotphoto sg but they only have fx3 at 5.1k and rode mic which i decided to buy
sony sg seems to be running a sale but only lenses and fx3 are in stock here - fx3 is priced at 5.2
cathay photo sg is also running sales for fx3 at the same price as sony, and they also have a range of lenses that i’m interested in
for lenses, after consideration of my current usage of only an iphone so far - i tend to use the 0.5x, 1x and maybe 4x (rarely the 8x) so the effective range of my use will be somewhere 24-50/70 which voers 1x upwards before 4x
how it maps out is: 0.5x - 14mm 1x - 24mm 4x - 120mm
this means that, ideally i would be getting a general use lens (between 24-50/70) and also a wide angle lens, possibly a 16 or 11mm or 14mm
