this site is written and edited in obsidian. i follow the principle of systems over templates - prioritising structure first before aesthetics. my plain text markdown files are compiled into web pages using jekyll and hosted with netlify.
the colour palette is from my previous project euscape, which i created for my personal use as part of aesthetic is a creative constraint. the theme you see here however is based on a combination of public templates/guides by other creators like maxime vaillancourt, mike tannenbaum, aaron and kepano. i vibe-coded everything together with zero formal coding background. i just followed what felt right, borrowed from open-source resources, and tweaked things until they looked like me.
_this website was previously built with jekyll but have fully moved over to quartz, will be updating the entire colophon since it’s not the most accurate representation right now.
i believe in sharing ideas and documenting what works (or doesn't), which is also why i started this digital garden in the first place. if you’re curious about how this site was built, here’s a write up on it.
otherwise, you can also learn more about how i use obsidian and my digital ecosystem
